Am in agony, every part of my body is crying out in pain…some i dint even know i had.

Today is day 2 since i decided to go the gym yesterday. Am trying very hard not to regret that decision but this i where the spirit man has to intercede because the flesh has already thrown in the towel..

Yeah I know what you are thinking….you brought it on yourself, should have know better than to eat all those white forest cakes, ice cream cakes, cream biscuits, white chocolate, chips and the list goes on and on and on…

when the shoe is on the other foot it is very easy to critic…

Enough complaining……

Yesterday when i go to the gym, like very good trainer, my would be trainer (read slave driver) interrogated me on my lifestyle and eating habits, taking mental notes i think. He appraised and gave me a skipping rope and instructed (read ordered) me to start with 100 as warm up before we get to the main event.

Aaaaaa 100 only easy, i said to myself, skipping was always my thing so I quickly got to it. I saw him smile, like every student eager to please, i thought wow he is impressed…..boy was i wrong…. the next words that came out of his mouth were ….”now let’s make it 500″…. and from there the down hill started.

From skipping…to legs crunches…others that am yet to know what they are called…..am even suspicious…he is making them up as i proceed just to torment me…

By the end of that 1hr I was almost in tears and you would not like to imagine the curse words going through my mind…(I already prayed about it…me and the Lord are good…) and slowing i lagged my body to the house..

Once I reached our apartment block, I was in for more agony. I live on second floor……. yeah….

My achievements so far…

Even in this state of pain, I choose to count my blessings…yesterday for the 1st time in my life, I drank 2.5 ltrs of water.. and tea without sugar….and eat dinner at 7pm…

And yes….I am holding on to those achievements.
